11 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Office of the Mayor Seattle W T May 14th 1886 A special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Seattle is hereby called to be held at the Council Chamber at the hour of 7 o'clock PM on Saturday MAy 13th 1886 for the transaction of such licenses as may be property brought before it H L Yesler mayor May 15 1886 Be it remembered that on this the 15th day of May 1886 the Common Council of the City of Seattle in its Council Chamber pursuant to the Call of His Honor Mayor [H L Yesler]] the following officers being present to wit: His Honor the Mayor H L Yesler and Councilmen R H Calligan, J Furth, W A Harrington, J J Post and G W Young. No quorum being present the council adjourns until Monday May 17th at 7 o'clock PM H L Yesler mayor Attest W R Forrest clerk by E Shepard deputy May 17 1886 Be it remembered that on this the 17th of May 1886 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment the following officers being present to wit: His Honor the Mayor H L Yesler and Councilmen J Furth, W A Harrington, T W Lake, J J Post and G W Young. Thereupon the folowing proceedings are had: Ordered that Clerk be instructed to pay the $500. already appropriated to the Northwest, without requiring the delivery of the 500 copies of said paper
