The undersigned Petitions your Hon Board to have sewer extended from the cor of 4th & Olive to the cor of 4th & Virginia [styar] to the centre of block bet Stewart and Virginia to connect five houses three now unconnected if construction At present all sewage is run into a cesspool in alley which creates a terrible stench and is injurious to all surrounding. Communication from H W Wheeler et al asking for a franchise from the City for a street railway. Read and referred to Street Committee. Communication from W H H Green recommending Sydney Smith for the position of Policeman. Read and ordered filed. Petition of A A Bell et al for the opening of Bell Street from 7th toDepot Streets.
