481 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE May 23/84 ON this the 23rd day of May 1884 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment as a Boad of Equalization. Present Councilmen U M Rasin & F W Wusthoff No quorum being present Council adjourns untl Monday May 26, 1884 at 8 o'clock Attest: E S Osborne clerk Approved H G Struve mayor May 26/84 On this the 26th day of May 1884 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets inits Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment as a Board of Equalization. Present His Honor the Mayor H G Struve & Councilmen F W Clancy, B F Day, Geo W Harris, Chas McDonald, U M Rasin & F W Wusthoff And now the Council proceeds with the equalization of the assessment Roll for 1884 Ordered that the petitionof the Terry Estate be & is hereby rejected Ordered that the petition of J Furth be & is hereby rejected Ordered that the assessment of the Puget Sound National Bank is reduced on $2000 on personal property Ordered that the petition of Sarah B Yesler be & is hereby rejected Ordered that the following changes be made in said Roll to wit: D T Denny on Blk B Denny's plat reduced to $50. per lot D T Denny Lots 1,2,&3 B 93 Denny's plat reduced to $150. per lot D T Denny Lots 1,2,&3 B 94 Denny's plat reduced to $150. per lot D T Denny Lot 1 & SE1/4 of NW1/4 of Sec29 T25 N.R.4E reduced to $13000 Mrs Kidd Lot 5 Block 4 Judkins reduced to $300.
