Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned as a Board of Equalization. Attest: E.S. Osborne Clerk Approved H G Struve Mayor June 1/83 Be it remembered that on this the 1st day of June 1883 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to law. The following Officers are present, to wit: His Honor the Mayor H.G. Struve & Councilmen O.F. Cosper, Chas F. Clancy, Fred Gasch, Charles McDonald, G. L. Manning & U. M. Rasin. Thereupon the following proceedings are had: Petitions Received From Thos H. Bates for the right to erect a building foot of Marion Street. Laid on the table. From John Banner for leave to use Isaac Cooper's License. Referred to the Committee on Licenses and Revenue. From C.M. Bywater et al for the removal of certain nuisances. Referred to the Committee on Health and Police. From J.J. Tracy et al for the opening of the 9th, Jackson and King Streets. Referred to the Committee on Streets and Street Improvements.
