Saturday night.

Crawford just phoned and wanted me to go up to the movies with him, but I told him I couldn't to as I have an eight o'clock class to-morrow morning, I am tired too and haven't any desire to go out to-night. Martha and Joc went down to your house for dinner. Before Joc leaves in the morning he is going to [set - crossed out] set the alarm for six and put it in my room. I am so afraid I will not wake up in time. If I don't have the alarm to wake me, why I stay awake so much worrying for fear I won't wake up in time to get up.

To-morrow there is to be a student meeting President David Prescott Barrows is giving to welcome the incoming Freshmen. I am going to the meeting with Marjorie then go to her Sorority House for lunch.
