My dear Sned:

I enclose letter received last night from Mother and I know you will be sorry to hear of her accident to her hand. I also received a letter from Helen in which she says that on the 16th Nor was operated on by a Navy Specialist Dr. Woodward for a nose operation, that he was in hospital where he would remain three days and then spend five days at home. I have no use for these nasal operations as I believe they are seldom successful in correcting what is wrong, but it is done and I hope he will be all O.K. and that his case will prove an exception. No news otherwise. I sent Helen's letter to Mother. Les & I both well. Heaps of love to you

always your loving father
