489 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE June 6/84 Miscellaneous

Ordered that the Street Commission be & is hereby instructed to report why the alley in Block 107 of D T Denny's plat has not been opened. Ordered that the new plat of "Lakeside addition to the City of Seattle'' be & is hereby approved & that the Attorney be & is hereby instructed to submit an Ordinance vacating the old plat. A motion to instructed the Attorney to submit an Ordinance appropriating $1088.00 from 4th Street Grade Fund to pay claim of I N Bigelow et al is lost upon the following vote, to wit: In favor of said motion Clancy, Keenen, McDonald & Rasin against the same Day, Harris, Northrup, [Ranke]], & Wusthoff Ordered that the Plans & Specification for the Improvement of Bell Street under Ordinance No 555 be & is hereby approved Ordered that Street Commissioner be & is hereby nstructed to open Alder and 8th Streets. Ordinances An Ordinance is submitted entitled "A special ordinance appropriating money to pay audited bills" Adopted upon the following vote, to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Harris, Keenen, McDonald, Northrup, Ranke, Rasin & Wusthoff Against the same none. An Ordinance is submitted entitled "To determine the terms of the members of the Common Cuncil who will be elected at the Annual election to be held July 14th, 1884" After due consideration said ordinance is adopted upon the following vote, to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Harris, Keenen, McDonald,Northrup, Ranke, Rasin & Wusthoff Against the same none. An Ordinance is submitted entitled "An Ordinance to prevent animals from running at large and from wearing bells within certain limits" After due consideration said ordinance is adopted upon the following vote, to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Harris, Keenen, McDonald, Northrup, Ranke, Rasin & Wusthoff Against the same none. Report of Chief of Fire Dept referred to Wusthoff, Day & Keenen An ordinance is submitte ntitled "To appropriate fifteen hundred dollars to be used for the purpose of paying existing indebtedness against the City on account of lighting, cleaning and repairing the streets of the City" after due consideration said Ordinance is adopted upon the following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Keenen,McDonald, Ranke & Wusthoff.
