To the Honorable Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle Gentlemen: Your Committee on Streets to whom was referred the petition of the Pacific Carpet Co et al asking that the sidewalk be replaced on Front Street between University and Seneca St beg to report that after personal inspection we find it unpracticable to repolace said sidewalk at persent the full length of said Block as laid part of said distance, but that the obstruction to travel placed on and along the sidewalk space in front of the lots owned by Mr Rugstorff & Mr Levy are unnecessary are we ordered the same removed, which we understand has been done. We recommend that the sidewalk be ordered replaced as soon as the condition of the buildings adjoining will permit.
