with Mother I met Edith Waterman who seemed quite hurt at my not looking them up.

I am very loyal to my dear Paru Street friends and will never over look them if I can help it --

I've had a case of Influenza and it has left me with complications that I am here to try and overcome -

The next time I am home I will go over to Alameda and try and make up for the slight Paru Street seems to feel - but indeed it was not my fault that I didn't see my good friends - It was more my loss far more than theirs. Sunday

Dear "Boogoo" Harry and the babies have just been to see me - They are all well. I have a splendid English nurse for the children hope I will be able to keep her as she is splendid with the children

I've a beauty new Oldsmobile eight pacer 5 pass - wish I was out of here so I could drive it

Why don't you stop off here on your return home? I am certainly [underlined] anxious to hear some of your interesting experiences I must write your mother one of these days and learn something of you boys
