Ordered that the Surveyor be & is hereby instructed to survey all proposed plats of additions to the City before the approval thereof at the expense of the owner of the land. Committees Reports From Comtee on Public Buildings, Property and Grounds rejecting the petition of Thos. L. Quinn to erect fruit stand foot of Columbia Street. Adopted. From Comtee on Health& Police recommending that all City Prisoners be turned over to James Bogart he to work them & to receive $2.50 per day for every day the prisoners are worked & 25 cents per meal for boarding each of said prisoners. Adopted. From Fire Comtee recommending the granting of the petition of Chas. Baker et al for recognition as a Fire Co. & recommending that said Co. be furnished a suitable Engine, Hose, Hose Cart & necessary appliances & building. Adopted.
