Present His Honor the Mayor H G Struve & Councilmen F W Clancy, B F Day, Geo W Harris, Chas McDonald, U M Rasin & F W Wusthoff And now the Council proceeds with the equalization of the assessment Roll for 1884 Ordered that the petitionof the Terry Estate be & is hereby rejected Ordered that the petition of J Furth be & is hereby rejected Ordered that the assessment of the Puget Sound National Bank is reduced on $2000 on personal property Ordered that the petition of Sarah B Yesler be & is hereby rejected Ordered that the following changes be made in said Roll to wit: D T Denny on Blk B Denny's plat reduced to $50. per lot D T Denny Lots 1,2,&3 B 93 Denny's plat reduced to $150. per lot D T Denny Lots 1,2,&3 B 94 Denny's plat reduced to $150. per lot D T Denny Lot 1 & SE1/4 of NW1/4 of Sec29 T25 N.R.4E reduced to $13000 Mrs Kidd Lot 5 Block 4 Judkins reduced to $300. Mrs Kidd Lot4 Block 11 Judkins reduced to $200. Mrs Kidd Lot 3 Block 32 Judkins reduced to $200. Geo Kinnear on Lots 2,3,&5 & S [?] NE 4 Sec 25 T25 R3 East [?] acres reduced to $6200. 637 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Ordered that the following named persons be notified to appear to answer questions regarding thier assessments on Thursday evening May 21st at 8 o'clock pm towit: Geo W Crane, Stetson & Post Mill Co, James Dougan, Lucinda M Ballard, Fred E Sander A E Hanford, Joseph W Phillips, John Collins & Chas Benson Ordered that the petitions of G M Haller & G O Haller be & they are hereby rejected Ordered that the Council Stand now adjourned until Thursday May 21, 1885 at 8 o'clock pm. John Collins reduced on Mortgage $120. Joseph W Phillips reduced on Mortgage $420. Chas Benson reduced on Mortgage $200. Lucinda M Ballard reduced on Mortgage $2000.
