Report of Chief of Fire Dept referred to Wusthoff, Day & Keenen An ordinance is submitte ntitled "To appropriate fifteen hundred dollars to be used for the purpose of paying existing indebtedness against the City on account of lighting, cleaning and repairing the streets of the City" after due consideration said Ordinance is adopted upon the following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Keenen,McDonald, Ranke & Wusthoff. Against adoption Northrup & Rasin. 496 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE June 25/84 petition of G A Weed et al for modifying grade of Street Railway & recommend that the surveyor submit all changes before July 1, 1884 adopted Licenses Ordered issued Ordered that licenses be issued as follows to wit: C P Stone for Wholesale license for 6 months from July 1, 1884 John Collins for retail license for 3 months from June 25 Carl Osiman for retail license for 6 months from June 20 Consideration of Ordinances An Ordinance is submitted Entitled "An ordinance to establish the grade on a portion of Kentucky and Temperance Streets" After due consideration said ordinance is adopted upon the following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy Day, Harris, Keenen, McDonald, Northrup, Ranke & Wusthoff. Against adoption none. An ordinance is submitted entitled "To provide for grading a portion of Front , Kentucky, Harrison & Temperance Streets" After due consideration said ordinance is adopted upon the following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy Day, Harris, Keenen, McDonald, Northrup, Ranke & Wusthoff. Against adoption none. An Ordinance is submitted entitled "An Ordinance to establish the grade on a portion of Fifth Street" After due consideration said ordinance is adopted upon the following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy Day, Harris, Keenen, McDonald, Northrup, Ranke & Wusthoff. Against adoption none. AnOrdinance is submitted entitles "To provide for the grading of and for building a sidewalk on each side of a portion of Fifth Street" After due consideration said ordinance is adopted upon the following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Day, Harris, Keenen, McDonald, Northrup, Ranke & Wusthoff. Against adoption Clancy Ordered that the council stand adjourned until Wednesday June 25, 1884 at 8 o'clock pm the the special purpose of acting on the Ordinance authorizing a Contract with the Spring Hill Water Co for water.
