Ordered that the Council do now adjourn until Wed-nesday April 11th 1888 at 9.30. o'clock P.M. Attest WR Forrest Clerk Approved T T. Minor Mayor Apr 11 1888 Be it remembered that on this 11th day of April 1888, the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment. The following officers are present, to wit: His Honor the Mayor Thomas T. Minor, Councilmen Furth, Frink, Green, Lake, Moran, Niesz, Russell and Reitze, and W. R. Forrest, Clerk. Petitions & Communications Petition of Robert Abrams for permission to remove and alter a wooden building on Front Street near Pike Street read and referred to Committee on Fire and Water. Petition of A. L. Palmer for permission to alter and repair a wooden building on Front Street near Pike Street, read and referred to Committee on Fire and Water. Petition of Frank Dupont for permission to erect a one story building to be used as a fish market at the foot of Madison Street read and referred to Committee on Fire & Water. Communication from Austin A Bell to the Council as follows "Will you kindly confer upon the undersigned? the pleasure of presenting to your Captain of Police James H. Woolery through your Honorable body, the accompany-ing same, to show my appreciation of his bravery and presence of mind in preventing a serious accident to my family on Sunday morning March 25th 1888."
