3rd Sent little Henry to Mill at Yates to day with 4 Bushels Corn for me ½ Bb^l for Henry, some Sorghum Seed & some corn for chop for cows Pretty morning cold, Pride gone to Mrs Colemans to go with Mattie & Alice to CH to school Board at Mr Hargraves & Mary Coleman gone with them - to stay at Mr Hargraves for with Mattie & Alice & Mr Hargrave gives her ½ he gets board for one of them for her to attend to his business while they are there & charges me $15 pr month Board (enormous) a p^s says he cant do it any lower – 4th I went to SS.
