Adopted From Special Comtee recommending that the Chief of Police be instructed to remove all Chinese habitations from Clay Street. Adopted From Finance Comtee recommending that the petition of the Herald Pub Co. for reconsidering the matter of awarding the contract for City printing to the Post Intelligencer, be laid on the table. Report accepted And now the Surveyor submits the Specifications for the proposed planking of Commercial, Mill & Front Streets under ordinance No. 595, after due examination & modifications, the same are approved.
