13th Toping Tobacco yesterday & to day also worming & succoring This we are Hilling up Lot again & faning out wheat -Baptising at Strait Stone to day —

16 went to Court Henry Jordan & sandy & 3 horses ^{has been 4 days Mr Fitzsat} gone back again this morning choping Corn on Branch^{Henry got home from Carrying machine homeabout 11 Oclock in night}

17 Rained a fine Rain last night Henry came home from carrying the machine to Capt Fitzgerald about 11 Oclock in night fine Rain Sent to Millers Mill spining this morn[in]g

18- Toping & worming Tobacco & finished Hilling up Lot to day Sewed Turnip Patch over again

21st went to Mrs Colemans Hillfield plantation & W^m Wallers yesterday, Rained all night nearly - cloudy this morning & Raining Fed mending Jacob shoes working on Baskets & spining, very warm fine growing weather Halling rocks for chimney to Henrys house ^eveningin

22nd Rained nearly al night very wet growing weather etc etc

1853 May 31st going to finish weeding Corn at Mountain Mrs Coleman 2 Sows has got 16^th Pigs the little sow has 9 the other 7. very Small ones ¬–

June 1st Send for Doct Andrew Thompson yesterday to see Cate who has the mumphs Bad,- Jordan Plowing Hester to day working in Garden triming cotton, weeding corn we are all getting wood this morning – cloudy & like for Rain finished Plowing fresh field at mountain last week & finished weeding there yesterday also Hilling 2nd yrs Tobacco Land Henry started to Lynchg 30th monday morning with a Hh^d of Second rate Tobacco also Mrs McCullocks^waggon & got back wednesday before night, broke his waggon Tongue & made another at Scags

4th June we have been weeding & Plowing corn Johns’s field this week 4 Plows since Henry got from Lynchg dry & warm this week Young Pink had a Bull calf this week at stony, put Red in Pasture to have a calf

6th Plowing & weeding far End of Johns’s field nearly over once Plowing - cloudy & like for rain this morning - warm weather
