14th we have been 2 whole days trying to Thrash Our wheat & it has rained so we have not finished yet. Toping & worming & succoring Tobacco this morning cloudy & Rained finely last night weather warm finished Thrashing wheat to day & car^d the machine to James P Lewis in evening

15 I am going to Riceville carry Jordan the Doct May see him,- Toping worming & & succoring over all our tobacco at this time, Sewed our Turnip Patch last week & some seed in Lot by Hog pen —
