A good day. We Denia and I was at Letcher Craddocks. Ella and I went fishing.

Otho Blair and Sallie and Cordie come for us. We come by Gretna. Otho brought me home. Lizzie Bennett is here tonight.

Rob and Ella Hubbard and all the children come to night. Mr Sam Hubbard brough them. They had bin to supper.

A good day. Ben carried Henry and I to Worshams pond to fish. We did not catch anything but minnows.

We walked from the pond to the union mens lodge there. Ben met us. We come by Strait Stone. Josie and the children was with Ben. Nearly all the Blairs are sick and Hazel Smith is yet sick.

I left this book at Letcher Craddocks got it home this evening.

Cloudy most of the day. Ben & Jim staid at home. Josie got dinner.

I went to see my brother Letcher. He is sick. They think he is a little better now. I do hope that he may get well soon. Ellen had a good dinner. I am sorry for her. She is so young to have the care of the house. Ren Worsham carried me. I thank him for that.

There was a crowd at Letchers this evening. Ethel and all the children was on the car. I am a fraid that they got wet before they got home.

Marvin & Carrie went to Strait Stone this evening. They got in and did not get wet.

A good day. Ben is at work curing his last tobacco. Jim went home this evening. Ben carried him to Gretna.

Josie got dinner. I went fishing. Reese & Henry went with me. We come by Georg Blairs. Heard to day that Letcher is worse off. I am so sorry.

Jim went home this evening.

[?] Thomson sent us 20 pounds of sugar to day. Mr Owen went after Bens paint.

I am so near a sleep that I cant write like it should be done.

A good day. Ben went to meet Jim at Gretna this evening. All the children went with him.

To night Clifton and Jane and Bruce & Molie Reynols was here to supper. I was glad to have them. Jack Harvey commenced to paint the house top. Quit and went to Mr Moses. He had Bens horse and buggy.

Josie got dinner. She made a cake. I killed two chickens for supper. I washed two pair of blankets this morning.

Heard to night that my brother went to Chatham Saturday and had some teeth taken out. I do hope he may get well a gain.

Heard tonight that Hughs Walker died this morning. I knew him when we were young.
