The meeting of the Club was called to order at 8 P.M. at the Club House which was remodeled at the close of the Spring Quarter.

Acting-chairman Sam Chew presided & the following members being present:—

Messers. H. Wu, W.C. Meh, H.L. Hsu, K.T. Young, N.Y. Yue & A.F. Chuck.

The minutes of the last meeting was read by W.C. Meh, acting Secretary; the minutes being duly approved.

(1) Financial report showed a balance of $1640.00 balance in the bank.

(2) By-laws of the Corporation were read by the acting chairman.

(3) Report of Treasurer Wu showed a balance of $7.09

(4) Election of officers for the Autumn Quarter resulted in :—

(a) President and House Manager - W.C. Meh. (b) English Secretary - A.F. Chuck. (c) Chinese Sec'y and Treasurer - K.T. Young. (d) Representative to the Western Section of the Chinese Students' Alliance resulted in a draw and the

a) Appointments were made 1) K.T. Yeung as principal of night school 2) Hsu, L.S. as Duty-in charge of social relations 3) N.Y. Yue as Duty-in charge of house adornment

b) Schedule settled for [duty?]-in-charge of cleaning house in the morning.

c) Discussion on the program of Chiese night

d) Bible discussion group - decided going to Memorial Church rather than having a Bible class in the house

a) Fire insurance on furniture in the house - voted against. b) President's Report

2) Letter from C.K. Chan was read - campaign's condition was not very favorable ($321.50)

3) 14 letters to Alumni

4) Quad Picture - assessment of $3.00 per capital must be soon paid. H. Wu kindly promised to pay the rest

5) Letter from Chinese Students' Alliance was read (for the Relief Business)

6) Letter from Chinese Students' Club at U.S. about the play for the Relief Campaign was read.

c) Mr. N.Y. Yue reported the plan to fix back yard

d) Mr. Wu declared the necessity of fixing the sleeping porch

e) The meeting with Trustee
