599 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Feb 9/85 Frye, Latimer & Yesler Ordered that the Clerk be & is hereby instructed to purchase a clock for the Council Chamber Ballard & Sox ask & obtain leave to keep at their place of business 100 lbs of powder provided the[y] provide a suitable zinc box to keep same in. said box to be first approved by the Chief of the Fire Dept. extension The Motion is made and adopted that Wm Harkins be granted an extension of time until April 1, 1885 in which to complete the James Street Grade. In favor of said motion Rinehart, Snyder, Sox & Yesler. Against the same Frye, Latimer & Northrup Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned.
