State of Washington County of King C E Brittain and L C Anderson and being first duly sworn, on oath, each for himself, says that he is a resident of said King County, and is worth the sum of one thousand Dollars over and avove all debts and liabilities, exclusive of property exempt from execution; that he is not an attorney or counsellor-at-law, sheriff, clerk, or other officer of any Court in this State. KNown All Men By These Presents, That we, Frank Goodwin as principal, and L C Anderson and C E Brittain as surities, are held and firmly bound unto the City of Seattle in the sum of one thousand dollars, for the payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. eatled with our seals and dated the 30th day of October 1891: WHEREAS, the above named bounden Frank Goodwin has procured a license from the Common Council of the said City of Seattle for the period of one year from the 30th day of October 1891, to connect private drains with public sewers in the said City of Seattle. NOW THEREFORE, the conditiond of the above obligations are such, if the City of Seattle from all suits, accidents and damages consequent thereupon, for of by reason of any opening in any street, ally, highway or avenue made by the said bounden or those in his employ in making any connection with any public of private sewer, or for and other purpose or object whatever, and shall replace and restore the street, ally, highway or avenue to as good a state and condition as at the time of the commencement of said work, and maintain the same good order to the satisfaction of the Street Commissioner, Sanitary Officer or Common Council of said City, and shall, in all respects, conform to the rules and regulations of the Common Council, and shall faithfully'comply with all the terms, provisions and conditions of Ordinance No 1308 of the City of Seattle, and any and all Amendments thereto, then the above obligations shall be null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and effort. 84 Columbia March 12th 1894 The Town council met pursuant to adjournment Mayor Hutchinson presiding Roll call and the following council men present - McKay, Willacy, Groat and Calder The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion approved The contract made between Fred H Peterson Edmund Peters and the Town of Columbia read and on motion accepted and signed by the Mayor and Clerk, and on motion a warrant was ordered drawn infor Fred H Peterson for $100.00 as retaining fee in the suit to recover the property known as the Columbia Park On motion Ordinance #45 relating to the payment of street grade assessments taken up and read and on motion passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor. On motion Ordinance #44 relating to the apportionment of funds collected as taxes read and on motion passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor. Onmotion Ordinance #41 relating to the operation and control of street and electric railway cars in the Town of Columbia read and the motion made to lay it on the table indefinitely was lost and the motion made to pass the same carried and it was duly signed by the mayor. On motion F E Scott was given the contract to finish the grading of Angeline St at the same price as the former contract and Attorney Heston instructed to draw a contract to that effect. Motion made and carried to adjourn to meet Monday April 2nd at 8 o'clock pm approved April 2 1894 B R Shaw clerk C P Hutchinson mayor

95 Columbia Nov 5th 1894 Town Council met at the Town Hall Mayor Hutchinson presiding the following Councilmen present Groat, Calder & Voland The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion approved. Ordinance #51 providing for the tax levy for the Town of Columbia for the years of 1894 read and on motion passed by the council and approved by the Mayor. Communication from Fred H Peterson read and on motion placed onfile. Motion made and carried to adjournment the first Monday in Dec at 8 o'clock pm Approve Nov 13th 1894 B R Shaw Town Clerk C P Hutchinson mayor

Columbia Nov 12th 1894 Town Council met as a special meeting Mayor Hutchinson presiding Roll call and the following Councilmen present Groat, McKay, Calder, Voland & Chase, The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion approved. On motion the following man was appointed as officer of the election to be held on Dec 4th, Thad Osgood and W R Hadlock as judges Joseph Hellenthal as Inspection and J C Huff and A H Hepler as clerks. Motion made and carried to adjourn to meet Monday Dec 3rd at 8 o'clock pm approved Dec 2 1849 B R Shaw Town Clerk C P Hutchinson Mayor
