Noticeof Election Notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the Town Hall in Columbia on Wednesday December 28th A D 1892 for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the Territory described below the question of the incorporation of said territory as a town of the fourth class to be known as 'The Town of Columbia" The territory which it is proposed to Incorporate is bounded and described as follows no : "Commencing at the south east corner of section 16 T 24, R 4 running thence west 40 rods, thence south 1/2 mile, thence east 40 rods, to the S E Corner ofthe N E 1/4 of section 21, T 24, R 4, thence north 40 rods thence east 80 rods, thence south 40 rods to the S W corner of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 22. Tp 244, R 4 Thence east 80 rods to center of section 22 Tp 24, R 4, thence north 80 rods to the NE corner of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of se 22, Tp 24, R 4 thence east 80 rods to the NW corner of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of section 22 Tp 24, R 4 Thence south 80 rods to the SW Corner of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Sec 22 Tp 24, R 4 thence continuing south 40 rods, thence east 80 rods thence north 120 rods to the NE corner of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of sec 22 Tp 24, R 4 thence east to the waters of Lake Washington, thence north erl and northwesterly along the eastern boundary of the Plat of Maynard's Lake Washington to the intersection ofthe south line of U Street in said plat of "Maynard's Lake Washington" with the waters of Lake Washington thence west along the south line of A street to the NW corner of block 3 in the plat of "Maynard's Lake Wash" and thence west across Milon St in the plat of Maynard's Lake Washington" and to the west side of said street. Thence south along the west line of said Milon Street to the SE corner of the SE 1/4 oft he SW 1/4 of Sec 15, T 24, R 4 thence west 1120.52 ft thence north 762 ft thence west 199.48 ft thence north 228 ft thence west 320 ft thence south 990 ft to the place of the beginning. The board of county commissioners having as certained the number of inhabitants in the territory which it is proposed to incorporate is 332 and all other proceedings

O A Schade receiving the highest number of votes was, on motion, declared elected to the Officer of treasurer for the term of one year. Ordinance No 61: "An ordinance granting to the Columbia Transportation Co the priveledge of erecting, constructing and maintaining a wharf on "A Street" between Irving Ave and Abbott St of the Platt of Maynard L W Addition and regulating the use thereof and authorizing the opening of "B St" westward therefrom by the granting of this Franchise." was read abd o n Motion was passed: and approved by the Mayor.
