45 Columbia July 15th 1893 The Town Council met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor C P Hutchinson presiding, the following Councilmen present, Willacy, Schade, Voland & Bond. The minutes of the last meeting read and in motion approved. Petition for the grading and sidewalking of Angeline St read and on motion same was granted. Mayor Hutchinson appointed Councilmen Schade Voland, & Bond as committee on Parks. Ordinance #30 read and on motion passed by the Council and approved by the mayor. On motion Joshua Sullivan was appointd as Councilman to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of CouncilmanJohn Sullivan On motion that estimate of the Engineer onthe amount of dirt moved on Columbus St was accepted. On motion the City Engineer instructed to finish the survey of Angeline St Motion made and carried to adjourne to meet Monday Aug 7th at 8 o'clock pm B R Shaw Approved Aug 7th 1893 C P Hutchinson mayor.

Ordinance #31 for the grading and side walking of Angeline St read and corrected and on motion same was passed by the Council and approved by its Mayor. Motion made and carried that the Clerk advertise for bids for the Grading of Angeline Street Motion made and carried to adjournment to meet Monday Aug 21st 1893 at 8 o'clock pm B R Shaw clerk Approved Aug 28th 1893 C P Hutchinson mayor

51 Columbia Aug 17th 1893 Town Council met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor C P Hutchinson presiding, Roll call with the following Councilmen present, Bond, Willacy, Schade & Sullivan The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion approved. The minutes of the meeting held Aug 17th read and on motion approved. Motion made and carried by that Sec 7 in Ordinance 331 be amended by a new ordinance to read as follows that the assessment for the grading of Angeline St be funded in three equal payments. One third Sept 1st 1894 1/3 Sept 1895 1/3 1896 There was five bids for the grading of Angeline St received and on being opened the bid of F E Scott was considered the cheapest & at 24 cents per yard reguardless of the quantity of material to be removed andon motion the same was accepted and the Attorney instructed to draw up a contract to that effect. Motion made and carried that the Council Treasurer be instructed to collect all but 35 cents per the matter rent from those using water on the flat and 1/2 rate from those living on the Hill up to Aug 1st after tjat all to pay regular [?] Motion made and carried to adjourne to meet Monday Sept 4th at 8 o'clock pm B R Shaw Approved Sept 4th 1893 C P Hutchinson
