25 Columbia Apr 3rd, 1893 The Town Council met pursuant to adjournment Mayor C P Hutchinsonpresiding. The following Councilmen present: Voland, Hellenthal, Sullivan & Willacy. The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion approved. The following Bills read and on motion warrants drawn for payment of same. Bill from Joseph Hellenthal for $5.75 for work on Water Works and material for same. Bill formD C Brown for $2.50 repairing sidewalk. Bill from Lowman & Hanford $9.00 for supplies. The clerk's quarterly report read, and on motion same was accepted. Ordinance #24 known s the "Water Works Ordinance" read the second time on motion laid on the table for one week, and the Water Committee instructed to confer with Mr.Edniston about the same. Motion made and carried to accept the grade of Caldwell & Columbus Streets as shown on profile. Motion made and carried to draw warrants to pay the quarterly salary of the Clerk & Marshal.
