C N Groat 40 For the office of councilmen to fill the unexpired term of Fred Bond [?] ending on the second Tuesday of January 1895 Thomas McKay 59 For Treasurer D A Schade 44 Special Propositions - For bonding the Town for $6000. 46 Against bonding the town 4 For ratifying the purchase of the Water Works and bonding the same 39 Against ratifying the purchase of the water works and bonding the smae. 5 Whereby it appears to the council that the following were received the majority of the votes and they are thereofre declared duly and legaly elected . viz: Councilmen William Willacy William Calder J D Chase C N Groat Thomas McKay For Treasurer O A Schade and where by the return appear to the council that the vote for bonds in the Special proposition show more than 3/5 majority in favor of bonds therefor the propositions are declared carried and the Election return ordered placed on file. On motion the Clerk instructed to advertise for bids for $3000. General Fund bonds and $3000 of Water Works bonds the same to be advertised for three weeks on each week in the daily Post Intelligencer and daily Seattle Telegraph the bids to be opened on the evening of January 8th 1894 at the Town Hall.
