750 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE Feb 19 1886 Councilman Furth the moves to dismiss police officers Wm H Pinckney, James Burke, and James Welch, carried On motion of Councilman Hall acting Chief of Police Wm Murphy is by a unanimous vote of the Council requested to resign Committee Repornts Recieved From Committee on License and Revenue recommending that the petition of Andrew Slorah praying that Ordinance No 639 be so amended as to omit the license on Breweries doing a purely wholesale business, be granted and that the City Atty be directed to draw and submit the necessary ordinance. Adopted From Street Committee returning petition of F T Johnson et al for the opening of Clay Street from Front St to Fourth St and for three blocks along Box Street recommending that the same be granted. Adopted From Committee on Sewers and Drainage recommending that the Petition of Fred Gasch et al for the extension of Union Street sewer be laid over for the present.
