day (during10 days) fasting, & it will procure a good
stomach, & also Keep y^e same from any evill humors to breed
therein. This is an excellent medicine, often proved, & easily made

{2}If 3 grains of Mastick be given to a person, & by him swallowed
every night at his going to bed it doth preserve him from
y^e pains in y^e stomach, & cure him. Proved, & a secret.

{3}Take a spoonfull of Aqua vita, & put therein half a
spoonfull of y^e pouder of Liquoras, & let it remain
therein 3 hours, & drink it fasting, or at evening wheⁿ yo^w
goe to bed. It is a sovereign thing for all sudden sicknes, &
especally y^e stomach & breast.

{4}An excellent remedy for many diseases, & chiefly for y^e
stomach. Mix two spoonfulls of Sallad oyl wi^th two spoonfulls
of pure Aqua vitae, & drink all y^e same in y^e morning at
one time, do so 6 or 7 mornings together. proved.

{1}For y^efalling sicknes. Take a frog, & cut her through y^e
midst of y^e back wi^th a knife, & take out y^e Liver, fold it
in a Colewort-leaf & burn it in a new earthen pot well
closed, & give y^e Ashes thereof unto y^e patient to drink wi^th
Wine, & it will help; & if y^e party be not healed at once, then
do so by another frog, & so do still & wi^thout doubt it will
help him, if he use it.
