She called on Dr. Hudson yesterday for more
medicine but, she found him sick and
unable to prescribe for her but says he
will sent it to her mail. He wants to
break up her cough entirely. She is better,
but coughs yet at night. I hope
she may be contented and not get sick.
If she does, she will have to come home
and must not trouble you unless there
is no other remedy. She says you are the
kindest and best sister ever was and
shows the pretty string you send her
to other girls and they wish they had
such a sister. You are very kind to
want us to take a vacation but, under
no consideration, could you get me
to go visiting. But I do wish I could
go to the sanitarium and rest a few
weeks. But when I consider the cost
of it, I don't think it would cost me
anything while there. I will be obliged
to give it up and suffer on. Dr. H. has
failed to cure me of that "Chrone's
Diarrhea" and I have given up treatment
and I have been worse since I went
on that excursion. I think over working
before going and the fatigue of the trip
and working hard after my return
accounts for it. I intend often this so
take Laudlum, (Laudnum), when I suffer intensely,
and I think it will yet cause
my senile
