Dear folks:

It is now 2:30 or 2:45 pm
and we are down by the boathouse
on the lake shore. There
is supposed to be a yacht
race. I didn't want to come,
but everyone else was coming &
they wouldn't let me stay
alone so I had to come. I haven't
seen anything exciting so far.
Just now on the car next to us,
two girls are siting, [sitting], on the
front of it, [[struck text]:illegible]],
in their bathing suits while
a fellow takes their picture.

Well folks, it is something
like 6:30. I have had potatoes,
pork (roasted), gravy, tomatoes,
lettuce, "dressing," bread and butter
