Louisville, Ky is a very interesting
and beautiful city located on the
Ohio River. At this point, the river
is very wide and not as swift
as in Ohio.

For the most part, we have had a
concrete road all day, and I suppose
in another year, the road from
Conneticut (?), [Connecticut], to Louisville will be all
concrete. Our road today has
led us over miles of almost virgin
timber land. So much of the
land is rolling hills that farming
is out of the question. The more
southern part of the state is supposed
to be even more interesting, especially
around Lexington, which unfortunately
