Eckley | 16 | Was seized (four days ago) suddenly as one would think would arise from a violent & sudden exertion of muscular strength he complained of violent pain in the back & shoulders, he has now a cough with great difficulty of respiration with a Diarrhea or reather a Dysentery he has a pain in his limbs like an acute Rheumatism . Dr F. thinks there is a Phlegmon in his lungs, so that in this complicated case we have to combat with a Diarhea, Rheumatism & Peripeumony. It might be supposed that the sudden exposure to the cold after being very hot occasioned contraction of the vessels of the surface & consequently threw the greatest quantity of fluids to the centre | Rx.
