Mr. John Kerrigan
Charlestown State Prison
Charlestown, Mass.

Dear Mr. Kerrigan:

I remember our good talk this summer after the Sunday morning
service. I hope to visit Charlestown again this autumn. In the
meantime I want you to know how much I appreciated the service, the
fine attention of the men and their general attitude of cooperation.

I hope things are going well for you and your brother.
We had a good deal of damage to repair left by Carol and Edna which
was particularly severe on our farm. You know we produce the milk
for your institution as well as our own. Things are getting cleared
up now.

All good wishes.

Sincerely yours,

Miriam Van Waters,
Superintendent
