Dear Miss Van Waters,

On Sunday the ninth I received
your Wonderful Surprise gift and Very Beautiful
card -- Until that moment I had never seen
or heard of Johnnie Walker cigarettes,
I definitely enjoy a very mild smoke.
I tried filter tips -- But they are too mild!
So your selection couldn't have been
more perfect -- I treasure your
thoughtfulness. ~ ~ ~ ~
As I write this the town of Framingham
comes to mind -- I recall that in 1940
I worked at the Crown Confectionery as
a combination soda-jerk and waiter -- If
I remember right, the owner's name was
Stella -- she treated me wonderfully --
they make a lot of the candy sold there -
downstairs - good too! I had a sweet but
discerning tooth - so I oughta know!
Perhaps you've tried their bon bon's!
