Dear Dr Van Waters

I do hope you are a lot better, I was so very thankfal to get such a nice letter from you and the $5,00 it done me so much good. I bought me a nice wash dress with [$2.99?] of it and the rest of it went for something to eat I am suffering terrably with my legs they are all raw on the back. I have to set up all night in a big chair and put me feet on 4 rubber pillows because I cant lay my legs on the bed they are so aufle sore. Its awful [E?] hard for me as I was always so active.
