Dear Dr. Van Waters

Just a few lines to let you know that I am fine and hope you are the same.

The weather around here is very cold, and we have a lot of snow.

We all had a very merry Christmas and injoyed it very much, I hope you also had a merry Christmas.

I went to midnight mass Christmas Eve, and the

church was all fix up very beautiful.

I got quite a few gifts for Christmas.

How is mother Van Waters getting along, I hope she is feeling fine, she has been sick so long.

Well I guess this is all for now.

I would like very much to hear from you, as I don't know if I still have to write every week or once a month like you told me.

So please answer this letter and let me know.

My daughter wishes to visit me when she comes to Mass. She lives near the border, in Vermont and as she is pregnant cannot give an exact date. Would it be possible for her to see me whenever she came.

She has only been able to see me once in eleven months.

I would appreciate this very much if it could be arranged.
