My dear Lucille--

It will be strange--but
you will receive two letters
from me this week. Why?
Mainly cause I'm lonesome--
and feel for writing.

Last evening I went in
town--saw Fred Astaire--in Royal Wedding--quite good.
But I dislike going to
the movies alone--perhaps
sometime soon I'll have
a guest. According to my
schedule I do have a
dinner date in the near
future--the one I
discussed with you. She
