3/ Last night I had a
terrific tooth ache -Mrs. Coran
is taking me to her dentist
Saturday - I dread it - as
there is a lot to be done
on my teeth.
It was only a bad tube
in my radio - Mr. Coran
had his brother-in-law fix
it, and it [?] me
othing. I'm also going to
have my watch repaired
at half price.
Perhaps you remember
that in my first letter_
my first impression of Mrs.
Horton was a very good one_
My second rates a bit
lower. She's very crude
and catty. She was here

4 I'm deeply fond of her.
Tonight I prepared my
first [meal?] - not because
I was asked to- simply
that I really wanted to.
Mde my famous macaroni
and cheese dish-- everything
in it but the kitchen sink-
and it really went over
big- they all had seconds.
I bought some coffee
and a few other little
things to send-will try
to send it Thursday when
I go into Boston.
I haven't had a news
from Edna. Was hoping
to this past week.
