and each day I learn to understand each patient a little more. It is all so interesting, and also how the patients will re-act to kind treatment. They are all so helpless, that to treat them otherwise would be a terrible sin. Little do some people who are sound in mind and body, think about giving thanks to God.

My Dear Dr. Van Waters,

Your most precious letter received and I'll never part with it. Im terribly sorry to hear of Mother not feeling so well and only wish I could be near her right now. Dr Van Waters I also hope our friendship will never die. I love you dearly. I only have about one more week of class, and "Then" I will be able to come down to see Mother and you. It cant come quick enough for me.

Yes Dr Van Waters I will try to be a good attendant. The other night filled out a mental status on one of my patients, and the superior read it and thought it was very good. She happened to know this patient very well.
