Dear Mrs. Van Waters,
I'm so glad that you and the class enjoyed my paper. I will write another soon. I have a cold but can't stay in bed. So I'm still working. I still miss you very much. This will never seem quite like Framingham. I hope you can come up again for I enjoyed your visit as much as you did. Give the class my regards. Tell all who see the board I wish them the best

My Dear Mrs Van Waters,
I have been worried about you. I hope your not ill. Every thing is fine up here, altho I do get sort of lonesome once in a while. I have just got thru fixing the fire place in the officer's dining room. It was yellow color and Gee it almost knocked your eye out to look at it But I scraped all that off and painted it brick red. Really it looks nice. There are lots of odd jobs I'm doing. Its fun for after you have finished

But if you could only see it here. The mountains change colors and the trees on top of them are dark blue. I'll let you in on a secret, Framingham comes first with me. I miss Class very much, But I'm really busy at all times. Mrs Van Waters, Would you kindly mention to Dr. Van Waters about my glasses. She said I could have a pair, but I haven't or can't seem to understand about them. Are they to come from Framingham or up here. I hope you will answer me soon as I say I'm worried not hearing from you. Give the class my regards and tell them I think of them often even tho I'm not there on Tues. + Fri my thoughts are
