My Dear Dr. Van Waters

Miss [Hamberg?] wrote me and enclosed $1.00 and it was from you. She also sent me $1.00. I thank you i think of you so much I read in the paper this last week of a Miss Brown and the Parole Board and your appeal. I also have been [indicated?] in in [Laws?] of [?] [?] and the Parole Board I hope your Mother is [some?] better. When one gets older life is not the same. I miss my home. [ I miss my?] life. I have not been so well lately. I was thinking of coming to see you around Easter. Remember me to your mother. My love to both

Dear Miss [Weinberg?]

Mrs. [Cadman?] said one was here to see me from Framingham did not get my things from [?] called to see [Ethel?] She was not very nice. Potter got for the house. A three thousand five hundred [Ethel?] is [O.N.] Did not put money in my bank So Potter told me they put [OR?] I had more. He (said) he would made me sick. I did take a drink. I have no one to see to me. He drink plenty. Who [fetches?]

I paid for [Davenports?] for that [with?] myself. And I know you said the Davenport-[Liggetts]? What is this. Got my check yesterday. For the same amount as last $24.00. Mine $9 $4 (Liggeth) You told me you want your personal check to Liggetts and 8oz Davenport and all $38.10 so some will have to go back to City Hall.

He cant go for it if got nothing my [leg] is bad hardly walk. It as just been a [frame?] to keep one quiet. I cannot go on the [steel?]. Now I do the best I can Liggetts sent another to the City Hall. Enclosed you will find same $4 [same?] took me. I owed $2.00 The other two washing?] I got nothing since only what I paid for Mr. Cadman got that for me. [Sharing?] [help?] This [out?] for [time?]
