The public meeting at the Country Club was carried out as arranged for the evening of Feb. 12. A gratifying attendance of members and guests much enjoyed the charming pictures of the Farrell Gardens at La Grange, Ca.

Mr. T. A. Skyes, after a gracious introduction by our President read the lecture with true appreciation.

Thanks is also due to Mr. J. D. Cox and W. C. Idol, Jr. for managing the lantern and to the Salvation Army for the use of the lantern.

The pictures and description made us feel as if we had actually visited these wonderful gardens.

A flute solo by Miss Miriam Sloan accompanied by Miss Alma Andrews and two delightful voacal duets by Mrs H. I. Coffield and Mrs. Gurney Briggs added much to the pleasure of the occasion.
