The Club met March 12 at the home of Mrs.H.A.White.
The roll showed 20 members present.
Minutes of last meeting and of the public meeting were read and approved.
The Corresponding Secretarywas asked to write notes of thanks to the following who helped to make the Marshall lecture a success;- to Sechrest, Kester and [Yow?] fpp chairs, to Johnson the Florist for flowers, to S.C.Clark for full page announcement in the Enterprise and in the Pointer and to Mrs. Coffield,Mrs.Briggs and Miss Boyd for music.
The Treasurer reported $15 on hand.
The Committee on Parking was asked to encourage the City to continue the parking not yet completed.
Mrs D.R?Parker and Mrs.Taylor reported the prospect of especially beautiful grounds at the Johnson St. School. The Supt. of Schools has promised the needed cement work at Ray St. Fairview School wants shrubbery. Members are asked to contribute.
The President stated that on account of the City Beautiful public meeting and the fact that we so recently held a public meeting our next meeting will not be a public one as originally planned. Decided to leave the Jonquil Display in the hannds of the Committee with power to change date if desirable.
Mrs.King then gave a helpful program on Lilacs.
She was followed by Mrs.Jones on Hollyhocks.
Meeting then adjourned.
