Mount Morris, Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1897.

Letter from Lillie. Jennie received a letter from Lillie
and I received one from Ellot, both
were dated at Thayer, Neosho Co.,
Kan., Dec. 19th , and mailed, Dec.
20th, 3 p.m.
Removal to Kansas. They removed there during
last week.
Hydrant Frozen. 8 degrees below this morning. Hydrant froze
this evening. 4 degrees below at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 23rd
Letter to Ellot. Wrote a letter to Ellot & mailed it
10:38 a.m.
Letter f'm Earnest. Rec'd a letter from Ernest this
morning, 7 a.m.
Married. Elmer Baker and Ida Wallace were
married yesterday evening.

Friday, Dec. 24th
Visitor. George Hoffman called briefly
at noon to-day.

Saturday, Dec. 25th
Visitor Misses Lulu and Mina Middour
dined with us to-day it being Christmas,
we had a "turkey dinner".
Warmer Much warmer. Temp. at 2 p.m. 32 degrees.
