Mr. Morris, Sunday, Dec. 26, 1897.

Sleighing: Sleighing is becoming quite poor, the scant snow being about worn out.
Visitor: Mrs. Witman dined with us, and visited with us this afternoon.
Rec'd Present: Rec'd a linen pocket handkerchief from Earl Goffman this morning.

Monday, Dec. 27th

Tuesday, Dec. 28th
Visit to Aurora: Mrs. Ellan Baker returned home from visit with her son Fred at Aurora
Visitor Surprise: Mrs. Witman visited with us this evening & took supper, after which Jennie and her go to a surprise party given Rev L L Lipe at Lutheran Church
Sick: I was quite sick today from a malarial attack.
New Neighbors: Mrs. Ella Winders, and her father commenced housekeeping in Mrs. Elizabeth Newcomer's dwelling just East of us.
