of tragedy, they have the
satisfaction of knowing that
Germany will never be able to
rise against them again.
Oh! Darling the little joy
bells are ringing in my
heart too, because I know that
now the time is limited until
we are to-gether at home
again. The thought of such
happiness, makes me appreciate
how the French husbands and
fathers must be overcome with
joy that they can be safely
home again with their love
ones.
To-night is a gorgeous
moonlight night, and I have
had you in my heart every
minute. I love you so much
and our darling boy. How I
wish that I could see you
tonight. I could not go to
