AUGUST 11

1931. Dan Long came after the girl's and they went home tonight.

1932. I cleaned up the hosue this morning & I sewed some this afternoon. Mrs. Clonley came a little while this afternoon.

1933. Stayed at home all day nothing happened unusual.

1934. I got dinner, made 2 pies & helped clean up the house. Sis went to town this morning. Rex & I went to town this afternoon & I went to see Mrs. Mann. I weighed 124 pounds today.

1935. I got dinner this morning. Sis went to Sunday School. Fred Slaton came this morning. Rex & I went to aunt Jessie's this afternoon. Nancy, Stells, Mary & I went to town.

AUGUST 12

1931. We washed today and I cleaned up the house this afternoon. Cosby came this afternoon & we went to Richland to church to-night.

1932. Mother and I sewed some today.

1933. I cleaned up the house this morning. Sis, Mr. Slaton & I went to Uncle George's this afternoon. Sis, Mr. Slaton & I went to church at Elm Grove tonight.

1934. It rained this morning & sis & I didn't get to go to Sunday school as we had intended to. Joseph came this afternoon. Earl came a little while also. Sis & Mr. Slaton went over to aunt Jessie's this afternoon. I wrote a letter to mother today.

1935. I churned, canned 1/2 gallon of tomatoes, made some grape jelly, got dinner and cut off some apples to dry. Sis helped me cut off some apples after she came home from school.
