AUGUST 15

1931. Miss Nannie, Reck & myself went to town this afternoon & to the ice cream supper tonight. Robert Daniel brought me home tonight.

1932. We washed this morning and I did part of the ironing this afternoon. Mrs. Conley came a little while this afternoon.

1933. We ironed today and made some damon's preserves and canned some damson's.

1934. I got dinner, canned some tomatoes, made some grape preserves and cut off some apples to dry today. Uncle Brock came this morning & spent the day & will spend the night also.

1935. Dock came home this morning & Mr. Slaton went with them down to the River. Mr. Slaton, Rex & Dock came home this afternoon. I cleaned up the house, got dinner washed a few pieces & patched some. It has rained today.

AUGUST 16

1931. Cosby & myself went to Richland to church today. Mrs Jenkins, Erdine & Cosby took dinner with us today and we went to church tonight.

1932. I ironed some this morning. Dad, Mother & I gathered beans this afternoon, Uncle Brack went to town today.

1933. We made some grape juice, some grape preserves and canned some grapes today. Jess, Lawrence and a Pogue boy came a while tonight.

1934. I got dinner & canned some tomatoes this morning. Uncle Brock went home this afternoon & I went home with him & went to Mother's & will spend the night. Mr. Slaton, Rex & Dock are going down on the River tonight to a sheep eating.

1935. I canned 1 gallon of tomatoes, cleaned up the house and got dinner this afternoon. It has rained today. Albert came this afternoon.
