1938 The sun has been
shining all day. Uncle
Brock went home this
morning. I cleaned up the
house and finished making
a dress. Mr. and Mrs. William
Rogers, Peachie and Marie
came tonight.

1939 Sun.
I kinda expected
Lin and Jessie today
but they didn't come.
I went to Mrs.
Gipsons this
afternoon. Rex and I
went to Mr. Rogers
tonight.

1940 Mon.
Rex and I walked to
Mr. Slaton's. We went
to see Mother and Dad.
The roads were frozen
enough for our truck.
June and Harding came
tonight and will spend
the night. The
snow hasn't melted
any.
