shining today. Rex & I
walked over to Earl's
this afternoon. Mr. & Mrs.
Rigney were there also.

1939 Mon.
Mrs. Rogers, Rex
& I wen't to town
today & I had a
tooth treated. We
wen't to see
Uncle Rufe's
folks also.
They are getting
along fairly well.
Kathryn has a
sweet baby. I
got sick
tonight.

1940 Tue.
June & Harding went home.
I washed today
Rex & Jay wen't to William
Slaton's to help kill
hogs. Mrs. Dartey came
this afternoon. I have
read some.

1938. Uncle Brock came
today and will stay
a year. The sun has
been shining part of the day
I washed
this morning & made a
slip this afternoon.
I hope Uncle Brock
will like to live
with us.

1939. Tue.
I have a bad cold
& my throat sore.
I fix the lace &
a scarf & have
done the general
house work.

1940. Wed.
I ironed, churned
& read "Doctors' Wives
are Lonely". By Henry
and Sylvia Lieferont.
