1 Cup Butter 2 Do Sugar
4 cups Flour, 4 Eggs, 1 cup
Sour Milk, 1 teaspoonful Soda
essence of lemon or Nutmeg
Beat the mixture well.

Snow Pudding
Pour a pt of boiling Water on
half a box Gelatine 2 cups of Sugar
juice of 2 Lemons whites of
two Eggs beat 1 hour the
whole mixture.

Currant Jelly
Press the Currants & steam them,
Measure the juice, allow 1 pound
Sugar to 1pt juice, put the juice
on the fire and let the Sugar
get hot, then boil together a few minutes.
